Exactly like the post title states:
Life doesn’t happen to us, life comes from us.
I can’t really stress how important it is to not only know, but fully understand that statement. I like to go a bit further but thinking about the world in terms of cause and effect. Our mind, our ideas, our hearts and souls are truly the world of Cause while the physical world is one of Effects. Before something can become an observable and measurable effect in the physical world, it must have a Cause somewhere in the mind of either an individual or a group of individuals.
The biggest argument people put together is that all of the seemingly random events that occur to them cannot possible be intelligent, ordered or not a coincidence. How come? Why? Who said? If this is your way of thinking, then you perhaps need to go a little bit deeper down the rabbit hole and see what can be found – and trust me, challenging your entire belief system is not easy but is the most necessary step in personal development. True intelligence and self awareness is never obtained by blinding accepting as truth what has occurred to you in the past, present and future. True conscious self awareness and intelligence comes by questioning the very things on which you believe your intelligence to be based, including all of the “facts”, “truths” and “history”.
The average person lives their life through the conscious (ego) mind, but life is more than that. Life comes from us also through our sub-conscious minds and even deeper such as at the level of the Heart or the Soul. The beliefs that we carry inside of us that are stored in the sub-conscious mind are an excellent place to begin looking when trying to figure out how Life does indeed come from us.
We create our lives and allow it to come forth through us and out into the world by the combination of all of our conscious and sub-conscious beliefs, ideas, thoughts and actions. In order to gain or accomplish anything in life, one must figure out how to harmonious put all of these forces into a single, focused and heart-inspired desire or goal that is worthy of themselves and their skills, talents and abilities.
I’d also suggest reading more into what Dr. Amit Goswami has to say and I’d highly suggest and recommend his theory where he believes that “Consciousness Is The Ground of All Being”.
