I just want to focus in on one of the most important aspect about psychics. I am always asked for my opinion about whether or not I believe psychics are credible and why/why not. Among this question, the biggest one I always receive are those questions regarding the predictions about specific dates and times. People are always telling me that a certain psychic told them that something will happen to them in precisely 2 weeks or that something is going to happen within the next 2 months… Let’s really think about this…
Can You Trust Psychics That Give Dates and Times?
My straight-forward answer is that I would be EXTREMELY careful in accepting dates OR times from psychics, and here’s why:
The problem here is that once you are made to believe that something will occur within, on, or by a certain date or time, if it doesn’t happen, then that psychic has been very successful in extinguishing your own self confidence, worth and belief in your own self. The psychic has effectively stolen the part of you that believes that what you want is possible. This is very dangerous for many obvious reasons and I ask that you think about how else this can effect somebody. In addition to this, the psychic has stolen that part of you that believes that something is possible and can happen to and for you.
While I don’t doubt that some psychics can be very accurate and what they say can take years to pass, the problem is that they are only human and they are only picking up on what YOU ARE CREATING. No exceptions.
For this reason, I highly recommend that you also read my post about how Life Doesn’t Happen To Us – Life Comes From Us. Because of this philosophy, I believe that we don’t really need psychics to tell us anything because we are always creating everything all of the time from within our own selves. A psychic is just attempting to read what you are already creating from your own thoughts/actions. If you invest too much of your faith and belief into a psychic then it’s easy to be lead down the wrong path by a not-so-good psychic that is negative in their orientation. Some psychics are vampires themselves and set up these type of relationships of dependency so that they can feed off of the expectations of others. It’s important to remember that just because a person calls themselves a psychic doesn’t mean that they are imbued with some kind of mystical divine favor that requires us to hold them as the highest Spiritual authorities in our lives.
Just keep in mind that ultimately when a psychic tells us something that doesn’t happen, we can be setting ourselves up for a major emotional breakdown and let down that shouldn’t ever occur. You are always creating the events in your life. We should never let what a psychic tells us steal the essence and happiness of our dreams and aspirations. We can never be afraid to fail and we must keep on trying until we are successful. Feel free to take what a psychic says with a grain of salt, but please just understand the core of my message here
Credibility – Good and Bad for Business
Psychics, besides weather forecasters, are the only profession I’ve ever come across that stay in business constantly despite the fact that they fail a number of times at giving accurate dates and times. Would you do business with investors who mismanaged your money this way? I don’t think so, and I wouldn’t hope that you would! Also, it’s amazing that psychics can keep their credibility once they predict dates/times that don’t come true. It’s a little backwards to think that we can keep their credibility in our eyes while they can destroy our dreams when their dates/times don’t come to pass. Doesn’t seem fair, huh?
It’s just my personal experience that many psychics are indeed gifted but of a negative orientation. This means that they would rather serve themselves then serve you unconditionally. It’s always important to guard yourself from a vampire psychic who tries to set up an energy dependency on you. If you sense and feel intuitively that you are seeing a psychic that has created a dependency and addiction within you, then please stop as you are only harming yourself. All of our answers are within us and we must bring them out and into the world through our own accord. Also, some psychics create this dependence because they just want your money – Miss Cleo, anyone? There’s no secret there and being a “psychic” can generate some extremely profitable business.
There are also gifted psychics who are great at serving others unconditionally and while it can be fun to see them once in a while, just please keep in mind again the overall message, meaning and tone of this article
. It’s a good idea to ask around for a highly experienced psychic who has a reputation for serving others unconditionally. A good psychic will even tell your from the start that what they are reading depends on YOU and what you are thinking about, believing in and acting on consistently. Just realize that you are the point of power and that without you, what can the psychic even read? Nothing. That’s because everything comes from within you. Everything is created and maintained by your Thoughts and Actions.
